Water Jet Washing: ✅ Why Water Jet Washing is Important:
Water jet washing is a critical surface preparation technique used before applying color plaster on exterior or interior walls. It ensures the surface is clean, stable, and ready to receive the plaster, which improves adhesion, longevity, and final appearance.
1.Removes Dust and Debris:
•Clears loose particles, dirt, and construction residues from the wall surface.
2.Eliminates Salts and Efflorescence:
•Helps remove any surface salt deposits that may cause future discoloration or peeling of the color plaster.
3.Strips Off Old Coatings:
•Can remove old paint, flaky plaster, algae, or mildew, which might affect bonding.
4.Opens the Pores of the Substrate:
•Exposes a fresh and absorbent surface for better penetration and adhesion of the plaster
5.Reduces Surface pH:
•Helps wash off alkaline residues on new cement plaster, reducing the risk of reaction with the new color plaster.
Non-Metallic non-Shrink Fibber Reinforced Repair Mortar:
Product:
Non-Metallic Non-Shrink Fibber Reinforced Repair Mortar is a ready-to-use mortar mainly made of sand, special cement, fibers and additives that provide unique properties: non-shrinking, high strength, high adhesion and compactness. The highly compacted grains slow down carbonation.
Properties:
•Non-Shrinking
•High Strength
•Normal Setting
•Good Resistance to sea water and to high sulphate water
•Prevents steel reinforcements from corrosion
SCOPE OF USE:
•Repair of concrete surfaces, honeycombing, edges of steps and all types of loads bearing situations.
•Restoring the structure of damaged construction: columns, slabs, vault, mats and dam overflo
•Reinforcing of weakened structures such as balconies, pedestals and cornices.

Applications:
•Structural concrete repairs
•Columns, beams, slabs, and precast repairs
•Overhead or vertical patching
•Bridge decks, parking garages, tunnels
Advantages:
•Long-lasting and durable
•Crack-resistant
•Corrosion-free
•High bond strength to concrete
•Easy to apply on vertical and overhead surface
Fiberglass Mesh:
It is a lightweight, flexible grid-like fabric made from thin glass fibers. The mesh is often coated with alkali-resistant chemicals (like acrylic or epoxy resins) to improve its durability when embedded into cementitious or other alkaline materials.
Application Area:Purpose
Waterproofing SystemsReinforces bitumen, cementitious, or acrylic coatings.
Wall and ceiling plasteringPrevents cracks and improves bonding in internal and external walls.
EIPS (External Insulation & Finish Systems)Provides structural support and prevents surface cracking.
Tile Adhesives & MortarReinforcement under tiles or mosaics.
Concrete Repair SystemsEnhances adhesion and distributes stress over repaired areas.
Advantages:
•High tensile strength
•Alkali-resistant
•Easy to cut and apply
•Rust-proof (unlike metal mesh)
•Lightweight and flexible
•Excellent dimensional stability
•Fire and rot-resistant
Interior Decorative white plaster
In advanced applications of the system , especially where performance and aesthetic quality are critical, the fixing process plays a fundamental role in the final outcome. Traditionally, the plaster mix is blended using mechanical mixing methods — typically with a low-speed drill or a paddle mixer. This method, known as “Mixed Mechanical”, ensures uniform dispersion of throughout the plaster .
To enhance the performance of the glue, the traditional addition of plain water during mixing is being replaced by a combination of Styrene Butadiene Rubber latex and distilled water. Styrene Butadiene Rubber is a powerful polymer additive known for improving flexibility, adhesion, and water resistance . When mixed with distilled water instead of regular tap water, it provides a much more controlled and reactive environment. This results in better chemical bonding between the system and the surfaces , leading to superior performance in durability, surface bonding, and finish quality.
Why Use Styrene Butadiene Rubber + Distilled Water Instead of Normal Water?
•Eliminates Impurities
Distilled water is free from salts, chlorine, minerals, and organic contaminants found in tap water. This prevents unwanted reactions with SBR or cement, ensuring a clean chemical environment.
•Maximizes Polymer Efficiency
SBR performs best in a neutral and pure mixing medium. Distilled water allows the polymer chains to remain active and fully functional during hydration.
•Improved Adhesion
The bond strength to substrates is noticeably higher when SBR is mixed with distilled water due to better dispersion and particle interaction.
•Longer Pot Life and Workability
The mix remains workable for a longer time, providing better control during application and finishing.
•No Efflorescence Issues
Tap water often contributes to white salt deposits (efflorescence) on the plaster surface. Using distilled water prevents this problem.
•Higher Durability
it will increase the resistant to weathering, cracking, and moisture, especially in harsh climates like the Gulf region.
